Claudia Karvan (born May 19, 1972) is an Australian actress popular for her roles in the television series The Secret Life of Us and, more recently, Love My Way.
Born in Sydney, Australia, she began screen acting at fourteen when she appeared alongside Judy Davis in Gillian Armstrong's High Tide and then in Phillip Noyce's Echoes of Paradise. In 1993 she won an Australian Film Critic's Cirlce award for Best Actress for her role in The Heartbreak Kid.
Karvan has starred alonside many of Australia's leading men, including Guy Pearce in Dating the Enemy (1996) and Hugh Jackman in Paperback Hero (1999).
