John Nolan is the lead singer of Straylight Run and the former rhythm guitarist/lead vocalist of Taking Back Sunday.
Biography
John Nolan was born on February 24, 1978 in Rockville Centre, New York. He is currently the guitarist/pianist/vocalist in the Victory Records band, Straylight Run. He is the former rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist of Taking Back Sunday. He and Straylight Run bandmate, Shaun Cooper left Taking Back Sunday because of creative differences. The two formed Straylight Run in May 2003 and brought in Will Noon, formerly of Breaking Pangaea as their drummer and John's sister, Michelle Nolan as their second vocalist/guitarist/pianist. John started out playing the guitar, then branched out into the piano and even took a few violin lessons. On Straylight Run's debut album, he sings, plays the guitar, piano, and glockenspiel.
