From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Gordon Rupert Dickson (November 1, 1923 - January 31, 2001) was a Canadian science fiction author. Although he was born in Canada, he spent most of his life in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is probably most famous for his Childe Cycle books. He won three Hugo awards.
