From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia David Lowe is a British composer, focusing primarily on music for television. His major work includes the distinctive themes for BBC News (including BBC News 24, BBC World, and all regional news programmes) British programmes include Grand Designs on Channel 4 the Channel 5 motoring programme 5th Gear. He has also created themes for the Al Arabya Channel in Dubai, NDTV in India and TV2 in Norway. He had a number three single in 1998 under the name Touch and Go, with Would You.... An album and more singles were released in 1999 in Europe and Russia. Before that in 1997 he released his first album Dreamcatcher which he has performed on several occasions. at the Thames River Festival 1997 and WOMAD in Reading, Gran Canaria and Singapore. In 2005 he produced a soundscape of music for WOMAD at the Eden Project
