Helen MacInnes (born October 7, 1907 in Glasgow, Scotland; died September 30, 1985 in New York, New York) was an Scottish author of espionage novels.
She was born in Glasgow, Scotland and graduated from Glasgow University in 1928 with a degree in French and German. Working as a librarian, she married in 1932 and moved with her husband to New York in 1937.
