Johnny Downs (John Morey Downs) (October 10, 1913-June 6, 1994) was a child actor who played Johnny in the Our Gang short series from 1923 to 1926.
He was born on October 10, 1913 in Brooklyn, NY. Following his stint with Our Gang, he found work consistently throughout the '30's and 40's, mostly juvenile leads in B-musicals and bit roles in larger films. In the '50's and early '60's, he hosted a kids' TV show,Channel Ten "KOGO" call letters in San Diego, California. He died of cancer on June 6, 1994.
