Matthew Laborteaux (b. December 1, 1966 in Los Angeles, California, USA) is an American actor who has starred on television and in films. He is best known for his role as Albert Quinn Ingalls on the hit NBC TV series Little House on the Prairie from 1978-1982. He also starred in the short lived 1980s TV series Whiz Kids.Matthew has starred in some TV movies.


Matthew's best known film role was in the 1986 Wes Craven film Deadly Friend as Paul Conway who is a young genius who brings back a dead girl using a chip from a robot he created, who was destroyed by a mean lady. Matthew has also done voices for some video games.

He has made guest appearances on TV shows, including The Bob Newhart Show, Lou Grant, The Love Boat, Night Court, Silk Stalkings, and Spider-Man as the voice of Flash Thompson.


Matthew is the adopted brother of actor Patrick Labyorteaux and actress Jane Laborteaux, and is the adopted son of Frances Laborteaux.
