Jimmy Sangster (born 2 December 1924) is a British screenwriter and director.
He is best known for his work for Hammer Film Productions, for whom he scripted many of their greatest horror films, including The Curse of Frankenstein (1957) and Dracula (1958) (US: Horror of Dracula). He originally worked as a production assistant at the studio, as well as assistant director, second unit director and production manager. He later turned to direction with Horror of Frankenstein and Lust for a Vampire (both 1970) for the studio, but with far less success.
