Nicholas Hoult (born December 7, 1989) is the British actor best known for playing Marcus in the hit British film About a Boy.
Nicholas Hoult trained at the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London. Although About A Boy marked his first leading role in a feature film, he began working at age eight in film, television and theatre. He made his film debut as Bobby in the Boxer Films/Fox Searchlight picture Intimate Relations.
Hoult has also appeared with the English National Opera at the London Coliseum, firstly in their production of The Nutcracker and more recently in Swan Lake.
