Felicity Huffman (born December 9, 1962 in Bedford, New York is an Emmy Award-winning actress whose work has included roles in the motion picture Magnolia, the television dramedy Sports Night. She is now best known for her work on the television series Desperate Housewives, where she stars as Lynette Scavo. Lynette is a stay at home mom who was a former advertising executive; Lynette has four children: the twins Preston and Porter, then Parker and finally Penny.
She is married to actor William H. Macy, with whom she has two daughters, Sofia Grace and Georgia Grace. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Television Series - Comedy for her work, and she won a Screen Actor's Guild Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series. She won her first Emmy in 2005 for her work on Desperate Housewives edging out fellow cast members Teri Hatcher and Marcia Cross.
