Ricardo Chavira (born September 1, 1971 in San Antonio, Texas) is an American actor. After recurring roles on television series such as Six Feet Under and The Division, as well as a series regular role on The Grubbs, Chavira now has a starring role on the ABC hit dramedy Desperate Housewives. On this series, he plays Carlos Solis, and is credited under the name Ricardo Antonio Chavira. Chavira has a son named Thomas.
