Kimee Jonelle Balmilero (b. December 13, 1979 in Hawaii) is an American actress.
Balmilero is of Filipino descent. She graduated from the Castle Performing Arts Center in Oahu, Hawaii. It was while there that she became well-known on Broadway, starring in roles such as Ali in Mama Mia, Kim in Miss Saigon, Andrea in Once on This Island, and in the ensemble in Damn Yankees and Tommy. In high school, she worked on a Dinner Cruise, singing and dancing for the customers. She also studied at Studio A.C.T. in San Francisco for six months.
In 2003, Kimee joined the American counterpart to the famous Australian kid's show Hi-5. As a member, she is the American counterpart of fellow Filipino Kathleen DeLeon. In Hi-5, her segment is Puzzles and Patterns, where she figures out various solutions and solve problems. Little does she know that the mischievous Jup-Jup (voiced by Curtis Cregan) is always either stealing things from her or adding something to her collection. This segment teaches children problem solving and math skills. Some of her solo songs include:
- "Clean My Teeth"
- Belly Wobble"
- "Buzzy Bee"
- Doctor Kimee"
- Tap Tap Tap"
- Five Fingers Dancing"
