Nicknamed "The Smashing Machine", Kerr is a native of Ohio, best known for exceptional strength and amazing wrestling ability.
A two time national champion in collegiate wrestling, Mark Kerr tore through the early world of MMA and dominated the sport by using his ferocious natural ability to inflict damage through any means necessary. His reign came to a halt at the hands of Igor Vovchanchyn, the powerful kickboxers during the semi-finals of the 2000 Pride FC Grande Prix, whom illegally hit Kerr several times with knees to the head.
Mark Kerr's career is documented through the HBO movie, "The Smashing Machine".
