Joseph (Joe) Devlin (1872-1934) was an influential Nationalist politician and (MP.
Born in Hamill Street, Belfast, "Wee Joe" was a journalist with the Irish News before becoming an MP for West Belfast through the first two decades of the 20th century, on the Home Rule and Irish Parliamentary Party platforms.
An acknowledged leader of nationalists in Ulster for decades, Devlin died in Belfast on 18 January 1934.
