David Lee Gallagher (born February 9, 1985 in College Point, New York) is an American actor of Irish and Cuban descent.
At the age of 2 he landed his first job as a model in a printed advertisement. This exposure led to roles in commercials for companies including Walt Disney World and Burger King.
At the age of 8 he made his film debut with the lead role in Look Who's Talking Now (1993) alongside John Travolta. After several appearances in both film and television he landed a role in another big-screen success; Phenomenon in (1996), again alongside Travolta.
Also in 1996, he landed the role of Simon Camden in the television series 7th Heaven. Simon is the second oldest son of Reverend Eric Camden and his wife Annie.
David Gallagher took a year off 7th Heaven to attend college. He then returned to the show for its ninth season, where he appeared in 14 of 22 episodes. He officially rejoined the cast fulltime in 2005-2006 and appears in every episode now. David Gallagher has two younger sisters named Michelle, 18, and Kelly, who just turned 15. He also has two younger brothers.
