From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia

Scott McNeil (born September 15, 1962 in Brisbane, Australia), is a voice actor. He has performed numerous roles in his career, including (but not limited to) Mummies Alive, The New Adventures of He-Man, G.I. Joe, Street Fighter, Double Dragon, Mega Man, Monster Rancher, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, ReBoot, Beast Wars, Shadow Raiders, Beast Machines, Ranma ½, Zoids, Inuyasha, X-Men: Evolution, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Dragon Ball Z, and a couple Gundam series. He is perhaps best known for his acting in Beast Wars where he filled the roles of multiple characters and in some instances spent entire scenes literally talking to himself in real time. Other shows on television he has done included Salty's Lighthouse, Bucky O'Hare, Dinosaucers and Courage the Cowardly Dog.

McNeil is one of the most popular figures among the voice acting fandom for his general friendliness, exuberance, and tendency to speak as one of his many characters at the request of his fans. He appears at many anime conventions, and occasionally gathers an entourage so large as to obscure hall traffic. When he and other convention guests sit down for autograph sessions, there is usually a "Scott Line" and "Everyone Else Line" for the sake of convenience.

His nearly-permanent attire is a cowboy hat, jeans, and a flannel shirt, with varying styles of head and facial hair.
