Jean Elizabeth Muir (1928-1995) was an English fashion designer. She was born in London and worked as a saleswoman at Liberty & Co and a designer for Jaeger before setting up her own fashion house in 1961. She was described by the New York Times as "one of London's most influential and modern minimalists". She was appointed DBE in 1984.
