Jan Johansson (1931-1968) was a Swedish jazz pianist. The album Jazz på svenska (Jazz in Swedish), recorded with bassist Georg Riedel in 1962, made him known to a wide audience. The record contained versions of Swedish folk music. On November 9, 1968, Johansson died in a car crash on his way to a church concert in Jönköping, Sweden.
