Mariana Ochoa is a Mexican actress and singer whom was part of the musical group OV7 (known as La Onda Vaselina in the beginning of its career). OV7 was eventually dissolved, and Mariana began dedicating herself to acting, with her first major role being a main character in the soap opera La Hija Del Jardinero. In it, Mariana played "Luisa Fernanda", a honest and kind hearted girl who turns out to be the granddaughter of an important business man. The soap opera has been well-received in Latin America.
Marina's first solo CD, entitled Yo Soy, was released by EMI. Its singles were My Lover, Deseos and Que Importa - which was the theme for the second soap opera she started, Top Model.
