Leeann Velez Tweeden (born June 13, 1973) is a model and television personality.
Tweeden was born in Manassas, Virginia. She graduated from high school a year early, and surmised an acceptance to Harvard was conceivable. Despite lofty academic potential, Tweeden eschewed college altogether and instead pursued a career in modeling. While working as a Hooters waitress in Colorado Springs, Colorado, she won first place in the Venus International Model Search in 1992. This break led to national exposure. Tweeden modeled for promotional work for Hooters and Venus International along with Frederick's of Hollywood and Playboy.
In 1995, Tweeden appeared on the television series Edenquest. In 1996, she became a regular on the ESPN2 series Fitness Beach. She has appeared on several other series including Blue Torch, High Octane, Star Search, Toughman and Wild On. Since 2001, Tweeden has been a correspondent on the television series The Best Damn Sports Show Period.
