Connie Inge-Lise Nielsen is a Danish actress, born on July 3, 1965, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
She is a trained singer and dancer. She is fluent in Danish, German, English, Swedish, French and Italian.
She is a big fan of Danish directors Lars Von Trier (Breaking the Waves, Dancer in the Dark) and Thomas Vinterberg (The Celebration).
Connie has a son named Sebastian. She now lives in New York, with her son. Currently dating heavy metal drummer Lars Ulrich.
One of Connie's hobbies is collecting designer sunglasses. She owns around 200 pairs.
Biography
At the age of 10 she moved with her family to a small seaside village named Elling in Frederikshavn. Her first acting experience was in a cabaret written by her mother when she was 15 years old. When she turned 18, she traveled to Paris to pursue her acting career. From Paris she traveled to Rome, Milan, South Africa and New York, both working and studying during her stays in those places. She came back to Italy where she bought a house.
Although her acting career started earlier, her big break came in 1997 with the movie Devil's Advocate, starring Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves.
