From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Ernie Sigley is a popular Australian television personality characterised for his square-rimmed spectacles, the gap between his front teeth and his riotous slapstick approach to comedy. Sigley began his television career as host of The Ernie Sigley Show from 1974 - 1977, starring notable Ausralian media personalities such as Denise Drysdale, Noni Hazlehurst, Pete Smith and Joy Westmore. His sidekick Denise Drysdale became a popular Australian "comic" figure in her own right.
Sigley was also the premiere host of the popular Australian game show, Wheel Of Fortune. Later he worked his way back into radio, having lived in Adelaide and Melbourne. Brought up in Footscray, he returned to his radio roots as afternoon presenter of popular Melbourne radio station 3AW.
