Kathy Staff (born July 12, 1928) is a British actress born at Dukinfield, Cheshire, England, United Kingdom. She is probably best known as Nora Batty in Last of the Summer Wine.
Prior to her arrival in the long-running sitcom, Kathy Staff had a regular role as Doris Luke in the ITV soap opera, Crossroads. Other appearances include Coronation Street as Vera Hopkins, and Freddie Starr.
