Katrina Kaif is a model and Bollywood actress. She was born to an English mother and Kashmiri father, who left her mother. She has 9 other siblings.
Kaif first debuted in the flop film Boom, which featured her in a daring role. She later regretted doing such a film, saying she was uncomfortable wearing such clothing. She attributed her participation in the film to living in England, a more permissive society.
She reinvented her career with the hit film Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and a brief but appreciated role in Ram Gopal Varma's hit film Sarkar.
She is dating actor Salman Khan.
