Luigi Arditi (22 July 1822 - 1 May 1903, Brighton) was an Italian violinist, composer and conductor. Born in Piedmont, he toured with Giovanni Bottesini, the double-bass player.
He began composing at an early age and in 1840 produced an overture, followed by an opera in 1841, among other works. He paid frequent visits to America, conducting the opera in New York, where he produced La Spia in 1856. In 1858 he became conductor of the opera at Her Majesty's theatre in London.
