Gabrielle Glaister (born 27 July 1960, Moreton on the Marsh, England) is a British actress.
Glaister started acting at a very young age, first appearing in stage productions of Oliver Twist, in the title role, along side long time friend Ben Elton's Artful Dodger. She is perhaps most well known, however, for her appearances in the Blackadder series in the role of Kate a.k.a. "Bob", the country girl with a penchant for dressing up in boys clothes.
She has starred in several TV series, among them:
- Blackadder (1983, 1986-89)
- Brookside (1990-95)
- Coronation Street (1999-2000)
- Family Affairs (2004-05)
She has also played in several movies:
- Buddy's Song (1990)
- The Heart Surgeon (1997)
