Actor Sab Shimono (born July 31, 1943) has appeared in dozens of movies and television shows, in character roles ranging from the dentist "Painless" Kumagai in 1990's Presumed Innocent to Mister Sparkle on an episode of The Simpsons. One of his more memorable roles was as HIroshi Kawamura in the 1990 drama Come See the Paradise.
A native of Sacramento, California, Shimono is a graduate of the University of California. An accomplished stage actor as well, he has appeared on Broadway and in regional theaters including Berkeley Repertory Theatre.
