Bruno Barreto (born March 16, 1955) is a Brazilian film director. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he has directed films like Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands, Carried Away, Four Days in September and A View From the Top. Barreto has been living with actress Amy Irving since 1990, with whom he made the film Bossa Nova (1999).
