Shiho Niiyama (March 21, 1970 - February 7, 2000) was a Japanese seiyuu famous for voicing Kou Seiya, otherwise known as Sailor Starfighter, in Sailor Stars and Deedlit from Record of Lodoss War. Other roles include Perfect Blue and the Sailor Moon SuperS dream arc. She was diagnosed with a form of leukemia known as kyuusei hakketsu byou in 1998, and died of pneumonia in 2000.
