William Daniels (born March 31, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York) is an Emmy-award-winning American actor whose distinctive, nasal voice and penchant for portraying critical yet competent characters has landed him a number of roles over the years. He has been married to actress and fellow Emmy-award-winner Bonnie Bartlett since 1951. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1949, and is a member of Sigma Nu.

Daniels starred as John Adams in 1776 in 1969, as well as appearing in the movie version in 1972. Even though he was just 10 years older, William Daniels played Dustin Hoffman's father in the comedy The Graduate in 1967. He provided the voice of KITT in Knight Rider from 1982 to 1986 when the series was cancelled. He appeared as Dr. Mark Craig in St. Elsewhere from 1982 to 1988 (for which he was awarded the Emmy), and as the teacher George Feeny in Boy Meets World from 1993 to 2000. He also served as President of the Screen Actor's Guild from 1999 to 2001.
