Mick Ralphs (born 31 March 1944 in Hereford) is a guitarist who was a founder member of 70s rock band Mott the Hoople. In 1973, Ralphs grew disillusioned with the band and left to team up with former Free vocalist Paul Rodgers to form Bad Company, a band that ultimately had greater commercial success than Mott The Hoople. Ralphs continued to record and tour with Bad Company until they folded in 1982 when Paul Rodgers announced he was leaving the band.

Bad Company reformed and split again a number of times through the 80s and 90s, but Ralphs finally quit for good in 2000 when he announced that he was giving up touring, something he was never comfortable with in either band since he has a morbid fear of flying.

In 2004, he once again teamed up with former Mott The Hoople frontman Ian Hunter, playing second lead guitar (along with Andy York) on Hunter's UK tour. It was mooted that he would again tour with Hunter in 2005, but this did not happen due to other commitments.
