Jerry Yan (言承æ—, pinyin: Yán Chéngxù, Cantonese pronunciation: Yin Seng Yuk, Vietnamese: Ngon Thua Huc)(born January 1, 1977), real name Liao Yangzhen (廖洋震), is an actor, singer and member of the popular Taiwanese boy band F4. He was the lead actor in the television series Meteor Garden and its sequel, Meteor Garden II, which made him a household name, not only in Taiwan but across Asia.
He worked as a fashion model before he tried acting. To date, he has starred in one movie, Magic Kitchen with Sammi Cheng and Andy Lau.
In August 2004, his first solo album was released, entilted, 'The First Time.'
He's currently filming a new drama entitled The Hospital opposite renowned Taiwanese actor Da Li Ren. The Hospital is directed by the same director as Meteor Garden.
