Emily Deschanel (born October 11, 1976 in Los Angeles, California, United States) is an American actress who made her big screen debut in the 1994 comedy It Could Happen to You. She has also appeared in Cold Mountain and Spider-Man 2.
She is the daugher of cinematographer Caleb Deschanel and actress Mary Jo Deschanel. Her sister Zooey Deschanel is also an actress.
