Born Mary Allgood (or possible Maire Allgood) on January 12, 1885 in Dublin, Ireland; she was a 19th and early 20th century Irish stage and film actress who was the younger sister of movie actress Sara Allgood, from whom she was estranged**.
She made films from 1930 to 1953.
She died in Belfast, Northern Ireland, U.K. at the age of 67 on November 2, 1952.
