Christine Helen Lakin (born January 25, 1979 in Dallas, Texas) is an American actress. like any popular actress, she got her start in commercials, and later moved onto minor guest starring roles. She was cast for Step by Step as Alicia "Al" Lambert, the tomboy daughter in 1991. In the series' later seasons, many male viewers were attracetd to the program because of how attractive she had become over the run of the program. Step by Step was later cancelled due to dangerously low ratings, and she moved back to guest starring roles, even though she also landed some major roles in movies. Over the years she aged gracefully and is appearing in many new made-for-TV movies and has many new films filming or in post-production. Time will tell if she will ever get another starring role on a TV series.
