- "Next" is also the name of a 1970s musical group.
Next is an American R&B trio fronted by R.L. Huggar and also including members T-Low and Tweety. Possessing a sound similar to Dru Hill and Blackstreet, among Next's most popular songs are the #1 hit "Too Close" (1998), "Wifey" (2001), and "Beauty Queen" (2001). In 2002, R.L. released his solo debut "RLements" which featured the singles "Good Man" and "Model Chick".
