Greg Wells (born September 21, 1968) is a Canadian musician, record producer and songwriter. He is the first of two sons to parents Rev. Dr. Bill and Judy Wells. Younger brother Rob is a successful songwriter and record producer in Toronto.

Greg's songs are on over 45 million CDs. He is a top studio musician on drums, guitar, bass, and trained as a classical pianist. Greg has worked with Michelle Branch, Lindsay Lohan, Rufus Wainwright, Team Sleep, The Deftones, Jesse McCartney, Natasha Bedingfield, Otep, Pink, Jewel, Pussycat Dolls, Celine Dion, Alex Parks, Ryan Cabrera, Crash Test Dummies, Sarah Bettens, Hillary Duff, through to music legends such as Elton John, Carole King, and Aerosmith.

Greg rose from humble beginnings in hometown Peterborough, Ontario playing church organ and in local rock bands. He eventually became a major player on the international music scene after moving to Los Angeles at age 21. Beyond commercial successes, Greg has carved out an eclectic career. He was k. d. lang's multi-instrumentalist for 3 years, recorded as a jazz pianist for Ahmet Ertegun, a rock drummer for Ozzy Osbourne, and arranged an orchestra and choir composition for Pope John Paul II at World Youth Day 2002.

Greg married singer/songwriter Louise Goffin on June 30, 2001, and they have two sons. Louise and Greg also collaborate musically - Greg produced Louise's 2002 CD "Sometimes A Circle" released on Dreamworks.
