From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Aubelin Jolicoeur (1925- February 14, 2005) was a columnist who frequented Haiti's Hotel Oloffson for 40 years.
A celebrity in his own right, Jolicoeur tickled the ivories with such legends as Bobby Short and enlivened the jet-set clientele the Oloffson drew during its second era of chic, referred to as "La Belle Epoque Creole", of the 1970s. He was the inspiration to Graham Greene's Petit Pierre in The Comedians.
