Katie Leung (born August 8, 1987; born in Scotland) is the actress who will play the character of Cho Chang in the coming film version of the J. K. Rowling novel, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Leung lives in Motherwell, a district near Glasgow. She currently resides with her father Peter Leung, two brothers, and a younger sister. Leung was selected out of more than 4,000 other hopefuls in the auditions for the part of Cho Chang.
Relatively little is known about the actress at this point. Daniel Radcliffe, the actor playing Harry Potter, noted that he found Leung to be "awesome."
