From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Angus Frank Johnstone Wilson (August 11, 1913-1991) was a British novelist and short story writer. He received a knighthood for his services to literature.
Wilson was born in Bexhill, Sussex, England, to an English father and South African mother. He was educated at Merton College, Oxford, and became a librarian at the British Museum in 1937. His first publication was a collection of short stories, The Wrong Set (1949). His writing has a strongly satirical vein. Several of his books have been adapted for television.
