Marvin Daniel Harrison (born August 25, 1972, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American football player who played for Syracuse University and is currently playing in the NFL for the Indianapolis Colts.
Football Career
At Syracuse University he set school records for most receiving yards in a career, average yards per game, and most recieving yards in a single season.
Currently, Harrison is one of the key components of the Colt's current offensive juggernaut alongside Peyton Manning and Edgerrin James. He was drafted in 1996 by the Colts out of Syracuse University as the 19th overall pick.
In his high school years Harrison was also a star football and basketball player at Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Career Notables
- Third all time in receiving TDS with 101. Harrison surpassed NFL legends Steve Largent and Tim Brown on Sunday, October 2, 2005.
- From 1999 to 2002, Harrison had 4 consecutive 100 or more catch seasons. He also tied Jerry Rice for most seasons with 100 catches or more (4 seasons). Jerry Rice did accomplish 4 100 catch seasons.

- Became the only player ever in the history of the NFL to have six double digit reception games in one single season in the 2002 regular season.
