Sara RamÃrez (b. 1976) is a Mexican actress. She won the 2005 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for her role as The Lady of the Lake in Monty Python's Spamalot.
RamÃrez was born in Mazatlán, a popular Mexican beach resort in the Pacific and graduated from The Juilliard School in New York City. She debuted in Broadway playing Wahzinak in Paul Simon's The Capeman (1998) and received an Outer Critics Circle nomination for her role in The Gershwins' Fascinating Rhythm (1999). She has also appeared in A Class Act (2001) and performed The Vagina Monologues with Tovah Feldshuh and Suzanne Bertish.
