Vibeke Stene (born August 17, 1978) is a vocalist in the Norwegian goth metal band Tristania. She joined the band shortly before they started recording their self-titled demo. First she was meant to be only an additional singer, but later on she joined the band permanently.
Stene's singing has become legendary to the goth metal fans, especially because her voice is different from most other gothic singers. Her amazing operatic soprano voice perfectly suits Tristania's music.
With Tristania she has recorded four full length albums: Widow's Weeds (1997), Beyond the Veil (1998), World of Glass (2000) and Ashes, which was released in January 2005; one EP: Tristania (1997) and one single: Angina (1998). She also worked with Green Carnation on their album Journey to the End of the Night (1999).
