Marlon Beresford (born September 2, 1969 in Lincoln, England) is a professional footballer. He currenly plays for Luton Town. He is 6 foot 1 and weighs 13 stone.
Marlon is a very reliable goalkeeper and has vast experience in all leagues.
He started as a trainee at Sheffield Wednesday. While he was there he was send out on loan to many clubs including Bury, Northampton Town, Crewe Alexandra and Northampton Town. After then he was finally sold for £95,000 to Burnley.
While at Burnley he made over 250 appearences, he impressed so much that he was then tracked and bought by Middlesbrough, he was signed to provide cover for there number 1. He was then loaned to Sheffield Wednesday, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley.
He was eventually sold to York City, then to Burnley where he played a whole season. Marlon was then sold to Bradford City, then his current club Luton Town, but was out of favour there so went to Barnsley. Then Mike Newell decided experience was a must so signed Marlon on a 2-year contract.
