Matthew Gill (born November 8, 1980 in Cambridge, England) is a professional footballer. He currently plays for Notts County. He is 5'11 and weighs 12 stone.
Matty can play either at full back or his preffered role at right-midfield.
He started off at Peterborough United, and when he broke into the first team he made over 120 appearences for them in 7 years. He then joined the Magpies in 2004. He has had a tough time here and been put on the transfer list, but when Ian Richardson took charge he took him off straight away. He is a very solid character and rewarded Richardson with some fine performances.
He will be looking to make a good impression to Gudjon Thordarson.
