Alex Varney (born December 27, 1984 in Farnborough) is an English footballer who currently plays for Charlton Athletic as a forward.
A true two-footed striker, he has performed exceptionally on several occasions for the reserve team, culminating last season in a reserve league championship for his team.
Varney is still awaiting his full team debut.
